A big Happy Birthday! goes out to one of the most creative women I know--Mynnette from On a Stampage! I am so happy to have gotten to know her through different challenges that she works on including the one that I am on-Technique Time Tuesday.
So a few of us wanted to get together for a Happy Birthday Mynnette Blog Hop. The blog hop is full of wonderful birthday cards for Mynnette and of course now party is complete with out a prize! So there is BLOG CANDY for one lucky person! Here are the details:
In order to have a chance to win you need to visit each blog and leave a comment on each one, including this one. One of the sites will be randomly chosen and we will choose a winner from the comments on that site using Random.org. You will have until Thursday May 16th at 5pm CST to comment.
To make the celebration more fun we are using different techniques of 2013 so far. So each one of us has chosen a different technique for our birthday card. The one I chose was the embedded image. You can find the directions here.
I made pennants out of a product called Tearific Tape which is mine is a sheet that is sticky on both sides. After I cut them out, I peeled one side and put pink embossing powder on it. I repeated this step and that made the light pink less bumpy. Then with I stamped each letter with Versamark (after rubbing my cornstarch bag over it) and put purple embossing powder over it. Then magically it looks like all one thing. I embossed the sentiment with Spring Willow embossing powder from Sparkle N Sprinkle. It has a little glitter in it too. And I added some twine.
Here is the list for the Birthday Blog Hop for Mynnette!
Want more? The Inkspirational DT is also hopping for Mynnette's birthday! So go see them too!
Thank you so much for hopping with us! Until next time my friends...time to eat lots of cake and ice cream! :)
