Happy June! HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY!

***This note will stay at the top until June 28th.  Please scroll down to see my most recent posts.  Thank you!***

Hello Everybody!

Happy June 1st to everybody!  This month a year ago I started my little spot on the Internet.  I can't believe how fast a year goes by, can you?

I want to thank all of my Cut and Paste Pals!  I'm so glad to have you here!  Also, I want to thank my Husband Chris for encouraging me to share my passion and projects with the world.  And I thank Google for having free blogs!  :)

So to kick off this month of celebration -- I am going to have a challenge.  I need inspiration for making my Fourth of July/Independence Day cards.  This challenge is opened to everybody worldwide.  I know not everyone celebrates this holiday-sooo your challenge is to make a card celebrating your country's special day.  If you could also give an explanation about your holiday-that would be extra cool.  I would love to learn about your part of the world :)

So here's the deal:

1. Gotta be a Cut and Paste Pal
2. Deadline June 28th, Thursday at Midnight EST
3. Fourth of July Card/or Patriotic Day (you can do other projects but cards are what I'm really looking for)
4. Must be a new project-no backlinking please
5. Link back to www.iliketocutandpaste.blogspot.com and encourage your friends to play!
6. Feel free to combine with other challenges
6.5. Link as many times as you like! (just added) ;)
7. Have fun! :)

Oh...and the prize...hmmm how about $15 (US$) to your favorite online scrapbook store? So go play!  Until next time my friends...I can't wait to see your creations!

Tidbit Tuesday Challenge-You Tell Me!

Hello Everybody!

Happy Tuesday to you!  Usually on Tuesdays I share a little tidbit of information.  It could be a new technique or product or something different to incorporate to scrapbooking.  But this Tuesday is different.

I want you to give me a tidbit.  That's right!  You tell me something you think I should know.  You have until June 28th Midnight EST.  So leave a comment with your tidbit.  If you have a blog post-then leave the URL in the comments, and I will come and visit.

Here's the deal:

1. For this you can back link
2. You don't have to have a blog-leave a comment in the comment space and check back a couple of days after June 28th to see if you have won
3. 1 Tidbit per person so make it good :)
4. Must be a Cut and Paste Pal

I probably have left something off-so if I need to revise I will.

And the prize is a $6 gift certificate to The Paper Shelter.  They have fun digital stamps which I have used before and really enjoy.

Until next time my friends...see you in a tidbit!

Baby Girl Card-A Die Cut Challenge

Hello Everybody!

It's time for another challenge to celebrate my 1 year Blogiversary!  Tonight I made a card using my Cricut.  I was thinking about how die cuts get left by the wayside sometimes.  Well-not tonight my friends!  Either make some or get out the pre-made ones because that is what this challenge is about!  You can distress them, glitter them, what ever your heart desires-just let me know which is the die cut just in case! :)  And letters don't really count here.

So here's the deal:

1. Gotta be a Cut and Paste Pal
2. Deadline June 28th, Thursday at Midnight EST
3. Use a Die Cut for a card, scrapbook page, altered project, etc. (Letters don't count but images do!)
3.5 You can used punches too (and any die cut machine you have) :)
4. Must be a new project-no backlinking please
5. Link back to www.iliketocutandpaste.blogspot.com and encourage your friends to play!
6. Feel free to combine with other challenges
7. Link as many times as you like!
8. Have fun! :)

Here is my card using a die cut:

The baby is from New Arrivals on the Cricut.  I used Cotton Candy Stickles on her bow and diaper.  The sentiment is from Little Yellow Bicycle.  And the rattle is from a button set.

And the prize!  The prize is this set of stamps from Jenni Bowlin and a package of die cuts from Girl's Paperie.  I will mail this Internationally so everyone can play!

Until next time my friends...link up those creations!
