Grey, Yellow, and Pink Flower Card

Hello Everybody!

I am so excited to show you this pretty card!  I am entering it into 2 Challenges:

The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC106 and CAS-ual Fridays Challenge CFC27.

Here is my card using the grey, yellow, and pink colors.  Also, the flower makes it "over the top."  Yes the pun was intended! ;)

Keep scrolling, and I'll show you how I made it!  First I pick out a base to put on top of my blank card.  I have some 6x6 Making Memories paper that I will use.  (I think it is from a wedding collection.)

As I was rummaging through my ribbons box, I found this satiny grey ribbon.  It must have come from a package or something because there was just one piece...that's it!  I put the middle of the ribbon straight across.

The ribbon on my left crosses the back and comes at the top right and crosses the middle ribbon.

Then the ribbon on my right side, I cross the back of the card to bring it to the top left and cross the 2 front ribbons.  I secure with small glue dots on the back.  They will show through on the front because of the type of ribbon it is.

My pink paper flower is from Oriental Trading.  The letters are from American Crafts (love their letters!)

Then I cut a piece of pink paper to fit the inside of the card--hiding the ribbon and glue dots.

Here are the petals peaking over the top of the card.

I really love how this card turned out.  I love grey anyway, and with yellow, but the pink takes it up a level!  Until next time my friends...stay colorful!
