Test Track Layout

Hello Everybody!

I just finished this layout using Kellybell Designs products.  They are digital items so I print them out.  I guess it's hybrid right?  LOL  Half machine half printed out with glue.

The May Challenge at Kellybell Designs is to use 100% of her product and scrap a ride/rides.  I did mine on Test Track.

I used In the Pocket Vol 4 and Magic of Epcot sets.  Depending on which kit you get-there are all of these fun little bits in it-buttons, washi tape and even that glitter star.  And all of it is paper printed out.  I did make the so fun so fast part of the title-and that was using her alphas on one of her papers.  I use Adobe Elements to size and print stuff out.

What's so funn?  I have no clue!  LOL!

Thank you for stopping by today!  Until next time my friends! :)

Guest Designer at Stick It Down

Hey Friends!

I am so excited that I am a Guest Designer at Stick It Down for May.  Check out this fun sketch:

I love this sketch!  For me it inspired mixed media so I got out my Tim Holtz Distress Paints.  I dabbed the paint in the background with craft sponges.  I made white paint splatters to give a little more interest-and I am totally inspired by the painting I'm standing next to in the picture. :)

These are words from Tim Holtz Sizzix thin dies.

These pretty little sequins are from Doodles Paper Playground.  Fun Fact! I bought these sequins at White Rose Crafts with a gift certificate I won a while back from a Stick it Down Challenge.  :)

This is a crystal (There's 6 of the at the top.) It's Studio Katia.

Here's a close up of the journaling.  I started writing and couldn't stop and then saw it was slanted.  Gah! Oh well.  :)

Thank you for stopping by!  This awesome challenge closes at the end of the month so you still have plenty of time!

Until next time my friends...keep crafting! :)

Happy Mother's Day Card

Hello Friends!

Happy Mother's Day!  I made this card for my mom:

I used Prima Paper for the background.  I used Prima paper for the distress panel too and some walnut ink distress oxide.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up.  I foiled those flowers with my minc machine.  I had left over paper and used a punch to make the flowers. The 3 sisters are from Tim Holtz paperdolls. And the dots are from a set of stamps called Rubber Stamp Tapestry.

I just love how this card came out!  I hope my mom does too :)

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Retro Rubber Challenge: #134 Spring Flowers:  sentiment from Stampin Up 2002 (18 yrs old) and the dots are from Rubber Stamp Tapestry Pen and Ink 2012. I have had these at least 5 years.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes with a feminine twist #270

The Library Challenge: #59 The Naughty Little Sister-This card is for my mom and there are 3 of us-so those are sisters on the card.  And 2 out of 3 are naughty.  I'm the good one ;) LOL

My Naughty Little Sister (Young Puffin Books) by Dorothy, Edwards ...

Thank you for stopping by!  I hope all of you mom's out there have a great day! :)

Vivaciously Violet!

Hello Friends!

May-is that really you?  LOL.  This month might hold some changes.  It's still day by day.  But today at Rainbow Card Challenge (and the rest of the month) it's all about Violet!

I have been loving violet a lot lately.  Let me show you my card:

The purple paper is Lovely Lilac by Stampin Up.  Then I used a Tim Holtz stencil and put versamark through it to create the dark spaces.  The smaller panel didn't look good with plain cardstock.  The same stencil is on the middle panel and I used Lovely Lilac ink.  Then with the stencil still on there I put Art Anthology Splashed paint over the lovely lilac ink.  It's beautful LOL.

The sentiment is simon says stamp die big thanks.  I love this die and might even go so far to say it's my favorite at this moment in time.  I put two lilac thanks on top of the white outline.

Here is a close up of the middle panel.  See all of that glittery goodness?  I love this technique.

Thank you for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the ladies at the Rainbow Card Challenge to see their inspirational cards.  And we can't wait to see what you make! :)
