Say Happy Birthday with Ribbons!

Hello Everybody!

Hope all is well with you!  I am excited to share this card with you.  I'm entering it into a new Challenge that I just found.  It is perfect for me!  It's about using what you already have!  And if you have seen what I've accumulated (and can't stop accumulating!) you will see why Scrapbookers Anonymous is awesome!

This card is for the Ribbon Challenge by Scrapbookers Anonymous.  For the challenge we are to use at least 7 ribbons.  I have 4 vertical and 4 horizontal for a total of 8.  Woo Hoo!  Scroll on down and I'll show you how I did it!

Ahh...my blank canvas and so may ribbons to choose from!

I have a collection of black and white ribbon from Making Memories.  Perfect!  Here is the first one.

I add the second ribbon here and start to weave it under the first ribbon.

I am adhering the ribbon with Glue Dots to the back of the card of the inside card for horizontal ribbons.  For the vertical ribbons, I adhere them over the top of the card and on the bottom of the inside panel.

Now here is the third ribbon, and I weave it opposite of the first ribbon.

The fourth ribbon is woven through...

All 8 ribbons are woven, and this empty space is created.

I have these two flowers but I don't know what brand they are.  They are made out of a shiny material and have a little poof to them.

My sentiment came from this pack of rub-ons I got from Target many many many moons ago.
(Yes, that many moons ago!) ;)

Here is the inside of my card.  I don't like all those end pieces.

So I cover them up with a piece of black cardstock that I glued to the inside of the card.  I used red line tape to help stick the paper over the ribbons.  There are four ribbons that go over the outside top of the card, but I just leave those.

And here is my completed card!  Until next time my friends...have a good Friday!
