Something to Crow About!

Hello Everybody!

Whew...I am running almost 24 hours behind!  I like to post on Fridays, but yesterday kicked my butt and now here I am posting at 40 minutes till midnight!  Yikes!  But no matter!  My cute card is being entered into the following fun challenges:

Moxie Fab--Cutting and Trimming in the Moxie Fab World--the challenge is to cut or trim something in an innovative way.

Make My Mondays #33--My blog friend Mynette (who has an awesome blog go see!) is on their design team-that's how I found out about them.  This week's challenge is to create a scene with the monthly theme being nature.

So here's my card...  I cut out the deer, moose and the saying "Something to crow about."  The sun and grass are cut using 4 blade scissors.  Scroll down, and I'll show you what I did!

The moose and deer stamp are from Stampin' Up.  The tree is from Gel*a*tins and the crow and sentiment are from Basic Grey.

Check out these bad boys!  4 Blades.  Now I have to give props to my sister because she bought them for me.  They are Totes scissors but when she saw them she thought I could use them.  My sister said she saw Martha Stewart ones just like it but she went back for them later, and they were gone.  It's ok because these work great!



Here's a cut.  I used a piece of scrap paper that had a decorative scissor used on it.  I thought that made the grass have a little more oomf!

Here is the first set of grass put onto my card.  Then I added the bottom piece of grass to give a little more dimension.

Here is my crow and sentiment.  The sentiment is adhered with pop dots.

And here is my card.  :)  I think it's a fun card.  I'm going to send it to my parents for a thank you for Christmas gifts.  My step-mom likes moose so I hope she enjoys this card!
