I made this fun green card for a few challenges. There was some awesome inspiration that sparked this creation! :)
The first bit of inspiration came from The Alley Ways Stamps Photo Inspiration Be Inspired #37. I love this green color! I call it candy apple green and it's one of my accents in my scrapbook room. So this color makes me happy!
The other inspiration came from Inkspirational's Case Inkspiration Challenge #38.
I took the strips of Coredinations Grassroots green cardstock and embossed them with different folders. This was the first time I used my mustache folder. Yay! The end strip is from a Tim Holtz bingo card folder. I like the way it says GO. :) Underneath the green strips is the white cardstock of the card that I changed to mustard seed using distress ink.
Instead of a circle I used a stamp and sentiment from the Doodleframes set from The Alley Way. This is such a fun set. I saw one of their DT's use this set-and I was like I have that set! Thanks for the extra inspiration! :) I also stamped this on white cardstock that was colored with mustard seed distress ink.
I embossed the the frame and sentiment with an embossing powder from Sparkle N Sprinkle. It's called Spring Willow and it is a cosmic semi-trans. The cosmic is for glittery goodness it adds! :)
Then I added a yellow ribbon I had from my stash.
It's Stamptember at Simon Says Stamp this month. I am also entering my card in the Wednesday Challenge which is to use something that they sell at Simon Says Stamp. They sell the Doodle Frames stamp set and the Tim Holtz Mustard Seed Distress Ink. They have a fabulous selection-so go check them out! :)
Thanks for stopping by today! Until next time my friends...keep craftin'! :)
