Hello Everybody!
You know it's a new month and that means a new color challenge over at the Rainbow Card Challenge! This month we are all about the color Golden Rod which is a nice rich color.
I used a couple of color to achieve goldenrod in my card background. I used distress oxide fossilized amber and a little distress ink wild honey and some oxide pumpkin.
I used a Tim Holtz stamp-this is one of my favorites. Around the edges I used distress oxide walnut stain and sprinkle little water droplets here and there for the oxide effect.
The sentiment is Tim's and usually stamps together but I cut them apart thinking I was going to stack the words. But turns out I liked it better this way so lol you know. And Tim's flowers are in the corner and I sprayed them with the seasonal broomstick mica spray. So nice! Also I used Ranger gold embossing powder and this was the first time I used it. And I love it! It's a nice bright gold.
Thank you for stopping by today! Be sure to check out everyone's goldenrod card. And we can't wait to see what you make! :)

Gorgeous card! I love the stamp.
Amazing monochromatic card! I love the antique feel of your background. I'm glad that you were able to use the sentiment, after cutting it apart. If you hadn't said anything, we would not have known that it wasn't intentional. Thanks for sharing that sometimes our first ideas can be altered mid-project!
