Cute Desk Card

Hello Everybody!

I have made some cards and I am so excited to share them with you!  This card I made for my dad-who is a little hard to make cards for.  He doesn't fish or play golf-he is more into computers.  I wanted to make him something cool so this is a cut file from the Silhouette Design Store.

This is the inside of the card-on the laptop it says Happy Birthday.  I used little brads for the knobs.  I used enamel accents from Ranger for the center of the flower.  The paper on the "wall" and "floor" are from K & Company.

I always see these cards and wonder what people put on the front of the card.  So I had to use my own creativity (lol) and created this:

This embossing folder and the little letters (die cutes) are Tim Holtz.  I used scrap paper (woo hoo! trying to use those bits up!) I love these little letters!

Unfortunately, I'm not the greatest paper engineer there is-so when I folded my masterpiece-it did NOT fold right LOL.  So I pushed the card as far down as I could (hoping the desk will be ok) and had to use a larger envelope and some bubble wrap.

I am submitting this desk card to:

Thank you again for stopping by!
