A Vintage Fourth

Hello Everybody!
 
This week at Let's Scrap they have a card sketch.  Here's the sketch:


Here is my interpretation of the sketch.  I've been working on my Fourth of July cards but I still have a little ways to go!  The outer "paper" around the blue embossed paper is actually tape from Tim Holtz.  I distressed it with Faded Jeans and Red Brick.


This Fourth of July image is from one of Tim Holtz's paper stacks.  The red and white circles are made out of paper (they look like brads but they're not) and a company called Craft Work Cards makes them.  They call the Candi.  I bought them at the Scrapbook Expo from the The Rubber Cafe.  They are quite handy.
