Thankful Card

Hello Everybody!

I made this card with these 2 challenges for the inspiration.

The first one is Technique Tuesday: Faux Pressed Flowers.  It's a really cool and easy technique and I love how it turned out!

**Revised-The second challenge is Our Creative Corner.  You can use buttons and either burlap or bows.  (Originally I missed the bow part!) Here I used 3 buttons for my centers and added a bow on the middle flower.  I like this card even more after the bow!

Thankful is a Fiskars stamp that I embossed with gold embossing powder.  The paper is from a Colorbok stack I bought at Wal-mart :)

The flowers are Prima, and I have had them for a little while.  They are paper and perfect for this challenge.  I used a Tim Holtz texture fade for the faux press part.

Here are the flowers after I pressed them.

Here's a close up of my bow.

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to check out the challenges I am hosting.  Just click on the birthday hat! Until next time my friends...be thankful :)

Your colors are so lovely and wow, what a difference the texture on those Prima flowers made! I love the way they look and agree that the bow is a great finisher. Terrific take on this week's challenge. So great to have you joining in the fun with us this week at Our Creative Corner.
