My Mojo is flowing! Not only did I just finish a 2 page layout, but I made a card tonight as well. Yay! So this card was created for the challenge at For Fun Challenges. This week's challenge is to use the colors green, blue, and cream.
So let me show you my card and then I can talk about it a little better :)
The main part of the card was dipped in water and alcohol inks. For more details you can go here. The centers of my flowers were made with this punch. If you have the little machine for making your own brads, you may have a few of these. They make great flowers! :)
Here is what the dictionary page looked like after I used the punch.
The out flower is from Kaiser. I used Shabby Shutters and Broken China Distress Inks and a little water on the Kaiser flowers and dictionary centers (no water on the centers).
Here is a close up. I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch for some other papers that I had "dyed" with the alcohol inks. Then I outlined them in green Stickles. The top butterfly is popped up. I used a thank you stamp for the middle on the base of the card. I used Stormy Blue Distress ink and colored the stamp partially. Then I put the cream colored decorative tape on the card. That's from We R Memory Makers.
Mom is made from a Cuttlebug Alphabet collection. I tried to make all 3 letters out of foil but that didn't work. Just the O did which is ok. I used Meadow (green) and Sailboat Blue Alcohol Inks to color them. The M's are out of regular cardstock so it was cool to see the alcohol inks create such a rich color. Lastly, the gold hearts are from Prima.
Here's my card again. Until next time my friends...Mom's Day is this Sunday! :)

Very pretty. You do great work with the alcohol inks. They scare me!! I never thought to use that punch to make flowers...how clever!!
