Hello Everybody!
It's that time again at Studio L3-another challenge from Tim Holtz's book: Compendium of Curiosities Volume 2. And depending on what time zone your in, there may still be time to play! ;)
This week the challenge technique is on page 43. Here is my tag:
Here's a close up. That's a little charm in the right hand corner, Martha Stewart twine and Recollections notes tape. The stickers are from Authentique (yellow letters).
This is one of the stamps of used.
These are from Close to My Heart and I love them. I used these stamps too. Until next time my friends...good night :)

Mom's Day Card
Hello Everybody!
My Mojo is flowing! Not only did I just finish a 2 page layout, but I made a card tonight as well. Yay! So this card was created for the challenge at For Fun Challenges. This week's challenge is to use the colors green, blue, and cream.
So let me show you my card and then I can talk about it a little better :)
The main part of the card was dipped in water and alcohol inks. For more details you can go here. The centers of my flowers were made with this punch. If you have the little machine for making your own brads, you may have a few of these. They make great flowers! :)
Here is what the dictionary page looked like after I used the punch.
The out flower is from Kaiser. I used Shabby Shutters and Broken China Distress Inks and a little water on the Kaiser flowers and dictionary centers (no water on the centers).
Here is a close up. I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch for some other papers that I had "dyed" with the alcohol inks. Then I outlined them in green Stickles. The top butterfly is popped up. I used a thank you stamp for the middle on the base of the card. I used Stormy Blue Distress ink and colored the stamp partially. Then I put the cream colored decorative tape on the card. That's from We R Memory Makers.
Mom is made from a Cuttlebug Alphabet collection. I tried to make all 3 letters out of foil but that didn't work. Just the O did which is ok. I used Meadow (green) and Sailboat Blue Alcohol Inks to color them. The M's are out of regular cardstock so it was cool to see the alcohol inks create such a rich color. Lastly, the gold hearts are from Prima.

Magic Kingdom Layout
Hello Everybody!
I am so excited to share with you my scrapbook layout for the this week's challenge at Let's Scrap.
Here is the sketch:
I don't know what I would do without these great sketches. Probably talk about scrapping than actually getting something done! Plus they have fabulous prizes! This weeks Scrap It Girl is the sponsor.
So here is my take on the sketch.
This is the first page. I used a library card for the journaling. And the trim below the title block are the mini fuzzy balls which I bought at Joann's. The castle in the title block is a metal castle that I bought online with some eyelets. I used a heart brad to attach it to my page.
Most of the stickers are EK Success Disney stickers. The pattern paper (blue background and block of characters) is from Sandylion.
Here is the 2nd page. I am giving this layout to my mom-in-law for Mom's Day. We exchange pages over some of the major holidays. So I look forward to see what she scrapped for me :)
Until next time my friends...enjoy the magic!

Just Add Water to Alcohol Inks!
Hello Everybody!
First I want to welcome the newest Cut and Paste Pals! Thank you to everybody who is a Pal and stops by! :)
Second, I was out of town during National Scrapbook Day. So I was making memories, and I am sure there will be scrapbook layouts one of these days! At Let's Scrap they are having InterNational Scrapbook Month! There is so much to do! Go check it out!
Now onto my Tuesday Tidbit! This is a cool technique that I found hopping around one day. The person had made an awesome tag using this Alcohol Ink Floating Technique. To see how to do it click here. It's a great video.
Here's my blank beige paper.
Here my container (which is a baby wipes container, I have lots of these). The colors are Aqua, Sailboat Blue, Citrus green, and Meadow green. The brighter the better.
Here's a couple of my papers that I just took out of the solution.
I was using green and blue because I am working on a challenge (hopefully) for Just For Fun Challeneges. One strips of paper has red and purple on it. I had to change it up a little ;) I will either use these for backgrounds, or die cut them. Pretty cool, huh? Until next time my friends, stay colorful!

Journey Tag
Hello Everybody!
This is my second post of the evening. This tag is for the challenge at Studio L3. It is the 3rd challenge from Tim Holtz's book A Compendium of Curiosities Volume 2. There's still a day to play, so come on over!
The sponsor this week is Electic Paperie. They are giving away a $25 gift certificate to their store. And they have some awesome stuff, so you know I hope I get it! ;)
Here's a close up of my tag. The sentiment is Tim Holtz along with the memo pin and distress ink I used for the purple music notes on the bottom (dusty concorde).
The flowers are from Websters. I have had them for a year and this is the first project I have used them.
The stamp is Tim Hotlz, the embossing powder is Sparkle N Sprinkle-Sienna. The pointing finger is a rub-on from Prima and the ribbon is a scrap I had.

Here is my newly acquired Distress Stain collection that I bought for this a future challenges. I love this product! I used more Stormy Blue than the other two in this particular tag.

Private Eyes
Hello Everybody!
A few days ago Cath at Moxie Fab had a great post about playing in the challenges for fun and not getting so wrapped up in winning. And she's absolutely right. I sometimes get all caught up in hoping I won. It's really about the fun of it, and being able to create something. And that is what this tag is. Absolute fun! Check it!
This tag is for the Spectacular Spectacles Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. There is still plenty of time, so after you see my tag, go and create and enter! :)
Scroll down and I'll show you some highlights!
Here's are the glasses, and in my case sunglasses.
I was practicing a technique for the tags using the distress stain. This is fun in 4 bottles! :) I need more colors! So I didn't think that this tag showed the technique enough but I loved how it looked so it was good for this project.
Here is my colored tag.
Over the weekend we went to some thrift stores (SO FUN!) And I bought this dictionary for $4.
I turned to page E and began to tear. Yes, that is a diagram of an eye in the right hand corner. Maybe I should have looked up sunglasses, but it was too late and I generally I just go for it.
These cute specs are from We R Memory Makers and I bought them with this challenge in mind. And since they are trending right now, I have something in style--and least for a few minutes until the next thing comes along! ;)
This was from my Tidbit Tuesday piece. Yellow boring seaming...
Now fun exciting seaming!
Here's my tag again. I used a crown stamp from Hero Arts, the flower is left over from a Tim Holtz class a million years ago (at CKU), a heart bead, and letters from Authentique. I distressed the dictionary page. I have a book with quotes and that is how I came up with Private Eyes. With sunglasses on...they are kind of private 8) (that's my smiley with glasses). Ok, I will stop now. Until next time my friends....my future's so bright...I gotta wear shades. Ok now I will stop ;)

Tidbit Tuesday-Distress Stains
Hello Everybody!
This tidbit is coming in late-I know, and I do apologize for that! Life seems to have busy lately. So I wanted to talk to you quickly about a product called Distress Stains. I just bought some yesterday. I love them! Here's the colors that I bought:
...I would be able to alter it! Look how cool that is! I will be using this on a tag I made, so be sure to stop back by. Until next time my friends...don't stress...Distress! (I crack myself up!) ;)

Of course I need more. I never know how to decided so I always try to get yellow, but I don't know if my store didn't have it or I was overwhelmed with choices. Probably the latter. Now I have the Compendium of Curiosities Book 2 by Tim Holtz where he explains what to do with these inks. But he also has a video. Check out the page here and look for Distress Stain. He explains all about them and what they can do.
A friend of ours mom had craft stuff she didn't want anymore. (LUCKY me!!) :) So in one of the boxes there was ric rac and seam binding. I knew I could use it for scrapbooking...but I didn't know at the time that...
