Hello Everybody!
So usually for Earth Day I make my friends and family Earth Day cards and send them out. This year I am changing it up. Easter took a lot out of me! So this year I decided that instead of Earth Day cards (which is April 22nd) that I would make summer cards and send them out in June. I have lots of beachy things (stickers, Cricut, etc.)
So to get me started on this summer journey, I found this inspiring sketch at Retro Sketches:
Here is my card:
The state of Florida and the sentiment are both stamps from Custer's Last Stamp. The hammock is from A Muse Artstamps. I stamped Florida on a transparency so that the paper would show through. The paper is very Florida (but I don't know who made it-sorry). I used colored pencils to color in the hammock stamp. To my dismay I don't have a brown Copic marker!
Here is a picture of my card angled to show off the Florida outline.
And here is my card again. Until next time my friends...get out the sunscreen!

Tidbit Tuesday-A Gift from My Awesome Hubby
Hello Everybody!
This Tidbit Tuesday is about the awesome gift that my Awesome Hubby gave me for Easter! Let me show you then I can tell you about!
It's an artistically adorned Vision Board! It's from the Etsy shop Your Karma Is Rockin'. I absolutely LOVE it! It's part dry erase board and all magnetic. So I can put inspiration on the top and write in what challenges I want to participate in :) There are all sorts of baubles and beads and the cork in the right bottom corner. The cork says "What would you do if you knew you wouldn't fail." Although that isn't the first time I have heard that question asked, it does always stop me and make me think for a minute.
The 2 gold flowers on the bottom are knobs so I can hang things! I bet there will be some tags hanging up there!
The board in itself is so inspiring to me! I can't wait to have it hanging on the wall so I can just admired it and hope that the creativity will just start flowing!
You can also check them out here on Facebook. They have close up pictures of different projects.
Until next time my friends...keep your Karma Rockin'!

Sweet Umbrella Card
Hello Everybody!
I made this card this evening and I think it's sweet-so I hope you do to! :)
I had umbrellas on my mind from the challenge at Inspired By #18. Here the inspiration picture:
Here is my card. The umbrella is from a piece of scrapbook paper by 3 Bugs in a Rug. Then there is paper from Authentique (grey background), Echo Park (pink writing) and the hearts are from 3 Bugs also. the blue is scrap and I don't know where it's from. The letters are Making Memories.
Here is a closeup of the bird on the umbrella. I embossed the pink cardstock.
Until next time my friends...stay dry :)

And as I write this there are about 12 hours left to play at this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #29. Their sketch help me get my card finished-umbrella included! :)

Happy Easter!
Hello Everybody!
I hope this day finds you well and at peace. It is a beautiful day and, we are enjoying our family!
I wanted to share with you a couple of more Easter cards!
This card is sprayed with the October Afternoon spray that I got in my Random Acts of Kindness (I love this spray!) I stamped on the doily directly. I colored it with my Copics and used some Flower Soft to make the grass. I wish I could say that the grass under my little egg was completely my idea...but it wasn't. I saw it in the March 2012 issue of Cardmaker Magazine-with a different egg. I thought that's brilliant!
Here's a close up of the little chick and grass. The stamp is Sparkle N Sprinkle. I used a fine sage Flower Soft and then a baby green (I think).
Here's my next card with the Sparkle N Sprinkle bunny stamp and a G Studio sentiment. And a little twine if you please! :)
I used that fantastic spray again here and added stickers :)
Easter also means that Lent is over. I can now buy scrapbooking supplies! (Much to my husband's dismay! Haha!) But I cannot go out tomorrow and break the bank. In May there is the Scrapbook Expo, and I have to try to save for that. But at least if I see something or need some adhesive or cards I can get them. And it makes going to garage sales more fun! :)
Hope you have a Blessed day! Until next time my friends...Have a beautiful day!

Easter Cards
Hello Everybody!
I received one of my random acts of kindness from the Around the World Blog Hop back in Februrary a few weeks ago. There were 2 paint sprays, and I used a green one for some of my Easter cards. One of those Easter cards I am showing today.
This picture is of the flocked lace that also came in the package. I don't think I would have bought it normally but I love it!! It's so nice and soft and these colors are just awesome! Let me show you the 2 cards I made with it!
Here's my first card that I used it on. I had some pink flower ribbon that I bought at Michaels for like a $1 last year and layered over it. And my bunny is from Sparkle and Sprinkle. I love this color combo and to me it feels like spring! It's one of my favorite cards that I made for Easter. I probably shouldn't have favorites...but I do!
This card is so cool. I used the spray and then put the beige felt lace on it. I used just a tad of blue jean distress ink over it to bring the lace out more. Before it seemed to get lost in the background. This stamp is also from Sparkle and Sprinkle. The "grass" is a playful light green fiber that I have in my stash.
Until next time my friends...get out the lace!

Tidbit Tuesday--Stickers!
Hey Everybody!
Hope you all had a great weekend! Easter is now in view! I am really excited about that--I gave up buying scrapbook supplies and accessories for Lent. Whew--I wanted rubber bands for something and realized I couldn't buy them because they would have been used in a project. You don't think about stuff like that!
So I found some really cute Easter stickers and had to use them for a card. (I have about 10 more to make--yeah I know it's Tuesday.)
So here's my card....
Here's a close up of the stickers. They already had glitter on them! I added twine. Voila! Quick and easy Easter card---hopefully I can make a few more like this!
Until next time my friends...get out your stickers!
