Hello Everybody!
One of my good friends does cross fit. And someone in her class was going to have a baby. So my friend asks if I can make a cross fit baby card.
I am not going to lie and say I didn't go on Pinterest for ideas-because I totally did. And there aren't any. LOL! So somewhere in my head I had this vision to put a baby on a set of bar bells.
My next obstacle was that the silhouette store didn't have any baby svg files that I liked. Weird, huh? So I dusted off the ol' cricut-and ta da! This card was born ;)
This is a great baby die cut form Cricut. But don't give it a month-it makes it not cute anymore. At least when I tried to give it a mouth LOL! :)
I am entering this card into:
the Anything Goes Challenge at Simon Says Stamp-Wednesday Challenge.
And the Anything Goes Challenge at Watercolor Wednesday
Thank you for stopping by! Until next time my friends....keep working out! :)

Missed Birthday Card
Hello Everybody!
A sweet friend of mine had a birthday last week. And I knew it was coming. And then I watched it go! Well that's no good. I knew I had to make my friend a birthday card. So I got out my crazy birds-because they are always great inspiration within themselves, and I set off to work!
So here's my card:
The background is cracked pistachio distress oxide with a tim holtz stencil. And for the bird I used wilted violet (oxided di) as a watercolor. So I put some on my mat and spritz with water. Then I used a paintbrush to paint the bird. I did the same thing for the balloon using worn lipstick.
Since I am going to enter this into the challenge at Seize the Birthday I had to take this card up a notch. LOL :) I added a white string and a bow on the balloon.
Thank you for stopping by today! Until next time my friends-have a happy day! :)

Hexagons on a Card!
Hello Everybody!
I wanted to share card I made using my gelli plate. I have come to the conclusion that I do not use my gelli plate nearly enough. I used a hexagon punch to cut out the shapes. The paper was cardstock from gelli plate designs. This was from bubble wrap. I hoard bubble wrap just for the gelli plate. LOL And if I need to mail a package? It's an added bonus that I have a pile of bubble wrap on hand. ;)

I added some Queen and Company stars and a Tim Holtz sentiment.
Thank you for stopping by! Until next time my friends---what is a craft thing you have that you don't use nearly enough? :)

My Hero Card
Hello Everybody!
I made this card for one of my son's teachers a little while back. The stamps are from Fun Stampers Journey.
I had this red texture stuff that I bought from the Scrapbook Expo a way while back (isn't that always the case?) and I really wanted to use it. Somehow I was able to work it in on this card. :) I pop dotted the superhero girl panel.
Teachers are definitely heros! So if you are a teacher-thank you for all that you do! :)
Until next time my friends--time to use up some of the stuff I bought at the scrapbook expo! ;)

Shaker Cards
Hello Everybody!
I am back! Time is a funny thing-I was away from my blog a lot longer than I thought! I knew I was going to take a little break. I was sort of evaluating how I did my blog. Like was I going to change anything?
I've been making projects here and there. I can't stop making. And I have taken photos of my projects. But I haven't been able to type them up and-this is a biggie-get them into a challenge. I have become so challenge driven that I couldn't make something without it being inspired by someone other than myself. And that started to effect my mojo. So I took a step back. Realizing that it's ok to make stuff however I want to make stuff. Am I still going to do challenges-Oh YEAH! I love the opportunity to have my card on the winners page or win a prize-please don't misunderstand me! :) But I have to make stuff for myself also, which is how I got here in the first place. :)
So are there going to be changes? Just a few in that I am going to post some things just to post them. I want to have an online record of making a card or some mixed media project-even if it isn't tied to a challenge or something.
So I am going to start with a couple of Shaker Cards that I made in the beginning--maybe a year or so ago that never got posted.
This card with the stars is made using the diamonds from Queen and Company. The stars are cut from my silhouette. I used my Fuse to make the little bags for the diamonds. And before I gave this card out-I put a thank you in white in the right corner. But I don't have a picture of it completed. I was very happy with this card when it was done. And I loved shaking those diamond pieces. :)

How did I miss posting this card? And I made a boy version of this card but can't find it right now. The frame and dino were cut from my silhouette machine also. This shaker uses a Queen and Company rectangle to keep all of the fun bits from falling out.
I LOVE shaker cards. They are so fun to make. My favorite part is picking out what goes in the shaker. :)
Thank you for stopping by today. Until next time my friends--it's time to shake things up! :)
