Caught in Crystal

Hello Everybody!

Happy 1st Tuesday!  This month at Technique Time Tuesday we are doing a very cool technique called Caught in Crystal.

So get out your re-inkers and glitter because it will be fun!

Here is my card:

Here is a close up.  I used scattered straw distress reinker but I also included a few drops of brown Dylusions regular ink.  The first time I did this technique my ink color was broken china and too dark.  I wanted a lighter color so you could see my stamp.  I used copper colored glitter also.  I didn't stamp on the actual background paper but I like the way the design paper peaks through the acetate square.  The little brown circles are from My Minds Eye.

This is a closeup of my caught in crystal square.  I like how much depth this gives my umbrella man.  He is a little off center but you get to see so much fun background! :)

So go over and check out Mynette's video here.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Until next time my friends...try something new! :)
