Citrus Thanks!

Hello Everybody!

This card placed in the TOP 5 at Inkspirational

There is a sketch challenge going on at Inkspirational this week.

This is one of those great sketches where you can do all sorts of things.  So I had too many choices.  I looked through stamps and paper.  So what I decided to do was a technique I saw on Simon Says Stamp.  She uses Ranger Pipettes to move the color around.  You can see the tutorial here.

So I bought some pipettes and went to work.  I have London Blue, Squeezed Orange, and Fresh Lime Dylusions ink spray.  So with my pipette and straw I went to town after I embossed thank you.

The I masked the bottom with a stencil and just used the blue dylusions.  I used green twine from Doodlebugs.  It has a citrus feel hence the name of this blog post.  I hope you like it.  I think it came out good for my first try.

Thanks for stopping by!  Until next time my friends...have a happy day! :)

Katy, I bet this was a lot of fun to make and it turned out great-I love it, so full of colour and the bunch of twine just adds to the fun of this card. Thanks for joining us at Ink.

This looks so good! My blown splatters always end up uncontrollable but you've really mastered this. Hugs, Jenny x
