On the Ice Layout

Hello Everybody!

I was trying to get some scrappy mojo started and I saw this sketch over at The Memory Nest-and guess what?  It worked!  My mojo started back up again. :)

Here is my layout:

The background papers are from a World Traveler collection from DCWV.  The letters are doodlebug.  The ice skates are Tim Holtz die cut on a silvery cardstock.  I used black soot d.i. to make them darker and added pen lines for the laces.  The bows are a strand of embroidery string.

Here is the sketch for Challenge #36:

There is still time to play-so if you are inspired, come on over!

Thanks for stopping by!  Until next time my friends--have a great night!

Tim Tag for March

Hello Everybody!

I am sooooo excited that I have finished my Tim Tag for March!  When I saw that he was using paints-I was super happy because I haven't used my paints in forever.  I know-something I shouldn't even say out loud, but it is true.  Of course until now!

So here is my tag:

I don't have Tim's beautiful butterfly but I did have this Graphic 45/Hampton hot air balloon stamp.  And I thought I was using the right letter stencil but his is different.  My stencil is still a Tim H. but it's different.  But the enamel gold effect still happened--and is very cool!  There's tape under the paint too-Tim tape but different than what he used.

I am so happy that I was able to participate again!  I can't wait to see April's! :)

Thanks for stopping by!  Until next time my friends...it's as good as gold! :)

Fuzzy Bunny

Hello Everybody!

This is my second card of the evening and I wanted to post it before I forget to!  Time seems to be passing by uber fast.

So here is an Easter card that I made.  I used Tim Holt's Easter bunny die cut.  I used a double sided sticky tape so that I could put brown flock on one side.  The brown flock came from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  I love this color brown!  I used some walnut stain distress ink and distressed the edges of the inside panel.

In this picture you can really see the softness.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Thank you for stopping by!  Until next time my friends..bunnies of a feather-Flock together ;) (how could I resist?) ;)

Hat o' Shamrocks

Hello Everybody!

I made a card using this super cute image from Silhouette (cutting machine).  I love their images and spend lots of time just looking at them.  Finally, I cut something out!  ;)

I embossed the panel with Swiss dots on the cuttlebug.  I used scraps (yay!) for the hat.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Stuck On U Sketches: March Die Cut Challenge: Lucky Green (the hat and shamrocks are the die cut from the Silhouette Store)

Thank you for stopping by today!  Until next time my friends...Good Day!

About Me Scrapbook Layout

Hello Everybody!

At Stick It Down there are beautiful new sketches for March.  And now you have a whole month to complete your projects.  I'm on the Single Page Team and here is my page:

I used K & Company Designer Pad for this layout.  The designer was Kelly Panacci.  I have a list of things that I like.  And these photos are all from 2015.  The last picture was Ash Wednesday and we celebrated Chinese New Year a day early-so that picture is ok.  LOL my printer didn't do anything wrong.  ;)

Here is the sketch:

I made another layout with this sketch.  The banner is from my Silhouette machine (love it!).  I used Making Memories letters (felt and regular stickers).  I popped up the middle picture.

Thank you for stopping by today!  We can't wait to see what you create!

Until next time my friends...let's go scrap some memories! :)

Selfie Challenge

Hello Everybody!

There is such a cool challenge going on at Scrap It Girl for March.  It's about selfies.  It can have just you or you with somebody.  I love this because we (often the people behind the camera) need to be in the pictures and on our scrapbook pages.

I also have a slight inflated sense of self-so that helps out also--hehe just kidding (ok it could be true.)

So here is my take on the Selfie challenge.

I used a Prima background paper sheet and then used a Prima stencil with like modeling paste.  There are also spots and splotches from a Tim Holtz stencil I have.  And then some random stamping.  The butterfly is from Martha Stewart and given to me by my mom-in-law.  I took this picture of my son and I.  There is a cool feature on my camera where it makes the hues light so I was just playing around but I really like how this came out.

I hope you play along!  We can't wait to see what you create!

Until next time my friends...time to go take some more selfies-it's March! :)

Enamel Dots for a Tech Card

Hello Everybody!

It's time for a new challenge at House of Cards-Enamel Dots.  If you don't have these in your stash be sure to check out the video that shows you how to make them.

I used some from Bo Bunny.  The stamps for this card are from Stampin' Up (sentiment, and behind sentiment), Close to My Heart (Tech Speak), and the numbers are from Inkadinkado.

This card is for my dad-he's a computer guy so I hope those green squares look like circuit boards to him.  I used a white ink from SU for those and my 2 inch square punch.  The kraft background for the card is 4x12 then I folded it in half.  I know it's a different size but that is the only way I could get the circuit board squares to look ok.  I used a fiskars punch for the notepad paper.  The notebook paper was inspired by this pin.

Thank you for stopping by!  We can't wait to see what you make with Enamel Dots!

Until next time my friends...let's craft! :)
