Thank You Card

Hello Everybody!

I am so excited to show you my first Thank you card for 2016.  You can never have too many thank you cards to begin with but in the last few weeks I have had some super special people help me out and I must say thank you!  I used to be able to make people cards sort of specialized to that person (or what I think that person might like).  But within the last couple of years time is sparse so just being able to get a person a thank you card is a big deal.

I am happy to say this is sort of customized to one of the super special people.  :)

The background paper is from American Crafts and it had the handwriting on it.  I inked it up with some distress ink (blues and greens from Tim H).  Then I stamped in mowed lawn in the corner using a stamp from Stampers Anonymous.  The Thanks is a Tim H flashcard.  The swirls are a stamp from Heidi Grace that a friend gave to me (thank you!).  And the stars were already blue and green and I used my mini stapler to put the lace one.  Oh!  And I used vintage photo around the edges.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Something New--I made 3 gold pearls above the Thanks using Faber-Castell gold gel liners.  Here is the picture so you can see.  I just bought these because I need one more gold medium--lol ;)

Whew!  This is a bit of a lengthy post.  If you made it this far-thank you!  And hugs! :)  Until next time my friends....stay creative! :)
